Original and versatile 5 in 1 manufacturing solution performing the function of a cocoa liquor mill, sugar mill, mixer, refiner and conche – all in one single machine. The Refiner/Conche is the universal solution for making chocolate, compounds, coatings, pralines, truffles and fillings for small to medium production capacities. Even a large variety of rework can be processed with the Refiner/Conches following a specific loading procedure. Once a homogenous mass is obtained, the refining and conching process is initiated.

The Refiner/Conche has a specially designed shaft equipped with grinding bars and a pressure adjustment mechanism to adjust the pressure on the product between the grinding bars and the lining bars (around the cylinder of the Refiner/Conche). This allows a reliable process to achieve and maintain a constant quality of the product from batch to batch.xt

Features

• Electric Main Drive Motor and Refining Pressure Motor (IE3)

• Electric immersion heating, controlled by PT100 probe, 4-20 mA, within the jacket water system

• Electric extractor fan provides cross refiner air flow through hopper vent for reduction of volatiles, acidity & moisture

• Product temperature control using PT100 probe, 4-20mA

• Chilled water inlet solenoid valve, 1 “BSP, 24V DC, controlled by product temperature probe

• Loading of powders through machine hopper and two infeed pipes for liquid materials at gearbox end of machine, DN50 flanges

• Low maintenance mechanical food grade product seal for rotating shaft at gearbox end using constant 0.5 bar air pressure

• Safety protected access cover for maintenance purposes

• Hard wearing, specially developed lining and grinding section

• Control System – Schneider / Siemens / Allen Bradley / Rockwell / Omron (Mitsubishi)

• Operator interface by 10″ color touch screen for set up, process control and maintenance

• Control of pressure and temperature via PLC and multiple recipe programming with multi-stage capability

• Comprehensive suite of control and monitoring functions including maintenance, energy monitoring, storage and downloading data for production along with safety protection and process monitoring
